A podcast is a series of episodes, recorded in audio format and streamed virtually through mobile apps such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, iVoox, and others. Programs can be recorded in various formats and cover diverse topics. There are many available, and you\'re sure to find something of interest by browsing through the search engines of music apps. Voice sessions can be listened to via cell phone, web, or smart speaker. Some of the diverse content found on these platforms includes interviews, musical performances, audio dramas, journalistic chronicles, magazines, ASMR, narrative documentaries, and much more, in addition to creative themes you can explore. According to the 2021 Podcast Survey, over the past two years, podcast listeners have increased their listening time by 70%. One of the questions asked of listeners was, \"Why do you listen to podcasts?\" The majority responded “to learn new things” (75.76%), followed by “to be entertained” (71.08%), then to unwind (40.36%), and “to be inspired” (34.94%). Fewer respondents answered “to stay up-to-date with the news” (32.81%), “to relax” (28.36%), and finally “for company” (27.06%).

Upload your podcast to Spotify

We\'ll show you two ways to upload your audio content to this platform. Once you\'ve created the theme for your show, coordinated the technical aspects of recording the programs, and planned the niche you want to target, it\'s time to upload your content. The first option is through an RSS feed link, which you can obtain by uploading your content to your website, blog, or YouTube channel. We\'ll need this URL soon. - Go to Spotify for Podcasters, then select the “Get Started” option, and register or log in with your account. - Select “Get Started” again and paste the RSS link you saved. - Fill in your personal information, where your podcast was created, its category, and the language. And that\'s it, ready to share! Another way to upload your music, and you don\'t need to have your content published beforehand, is through Anchor, a mobile app owned by Spotify that specializes in podcast creation and editing. After you edit your audio, add the name of your edit, a description, and cover art. They will respond to your request within 24 hours, and your content will be on the Spotify platform.
