Tablets, consoles, televisions, and older cell phones will be affected by this outage due to the expiration of the Let's Encrypt HTTPS authentication certificate. Devices produced after 2017 will not have any issues functioning as they are manufactured with ISRG Root X1, which expires in 2035.
It is estimated that around 30% of Android phones will be left without internet access, and many devices can be updated to avoid discontinuation.
Some of the devices that will stop working are:
iPhone or iPad with iOS 6 or earlier
Computers with Windows XP Service Pack 2 or macOS 10.12.0 or earlier
Cell phones and tablets with Android Gingerbread 2.3.6 or earlier
BlackBerry with versions prior to 10.3.3
Nintendo 3DS and outdated PlayStation 3 or PS4
