Likewise, it is imperative to consider the environmental impact of the logistics behind commerce.

It is often argued that this convenience comes at a high price; offshoring can negatively impact local economies where jobs are lost due to the closure of traditional businesses. This is where an important discussion arises: should we prioritize a sustainable business model that guarantees both profitability and social responsibility?

However, although many advocates of e-commerce argue that it has democratized the market by offering opportunities for novice and innovative entrepreneurs, it also becomes crucial to consider whether this democratization truly translates into economic equity or if it simply perpetuates a cycle where established players dominate even more thanks to low marginal cost and operational efficiency.
