Activate the Google Chrome RSS reader on your Android

The original goal of RSS is to facilitate the management and publication of information and news on websites and blogs. It's a standardized way of distributing information from web pages to readers. Although Google Reader, Google's RSS feed reader, was discontinued about eight years ago, there are more RSS reader options, and you can use it on your Android.

Want to know how to activate it? We'll tell you here.

Go to the Play Store and search for the beta version of Google Chrome. Once you've installed it, follow these steps:

• In the search bar, type: chrome://flags
• Then search: web feed. Or copy and paste the following URL into the search bar: chrome://flags/

web-feed

• Activate the feature by clicking "Default" and changing it to "Enabled."

Once this is done, Chrome will restart, and you can start following RSS feeds. But how? Go to the website you want to follow, then tap the three dots in the top right corner and click the "Follow" button that appears in the last option. Continue doing this for all the websites you want to follow.

You can view the content on your Google Chrome home screen in a new tab called "Following." This tab will contain all the content from the websites you subscribed to.
