To create a catalog, you must use the WhatsApp Business app. Consumers don't have to switch apps; they can interact with the company using their regular WhatsApp app.
How to create a product catalog on WhatsApp is explained here:
- The first thing to do is download and/or open the WhatsApp Business app, select the "Settings" option in the menu in the upper right corner.
- Once there, go to "Business Settings" and select the "catalog" option. If the "Catalog" option doesn't appear, you must update the WhatsApp Business app; you may not have the latest version.
- "Add a product or service" and select the (+) symbol to add images. You can select them either from your phone's image gallery or by opening the camera to take a picture.
- Enter the product name and details. Tap save and repeat the action as many times as necessary to add each product to the company's catalog on WhatsApp.
Users will also have direct access to the catalog, where they can view all available products and services.
