A few months ago, Facebook announced the integration between Messenger and Instagram, allowing users to send and receive messages independently of the app. This messaging feature now also works in group chats.
This integration isn\'t a merger of the two accounts; both continue to exist independently, but with the added functionality that allows you to communicate from your Messenger account to an Instagram account, or vice versa.
Furthermore, you can now conduct internal polls in Instagram group chats, a feature already available in Messenger. Messenger has also introduced new designs for chats, some even inspired by J Balvin\'s new album.
You can also see when more than one person in the group is typing at the same time. Just as profile icons appear in the bottom left of the app, the notification that two people are typing simultaneously appears on the right side of the screen. Another Messenger feature that\'s being rolled out to Instagram is Watch Together, which allows users to share what they\'re watching with their contacts.
Were you already aware of these new features?
