The instant messaging company for smartphones, part of the Meta family, has announced in digital media that in version 2.22.3.1 of its beta tool, users will be able to listen to audio without remaining in the chat. Instead, they will be able to continue listening while browsing other conversations. Furthermore, another feature of this update is that a thumbnail player view will open upon exiting the chat. This will allow users to navigate the main chat room and the list of active users while listening to the audio received via chat. Additionally, users will be able to record audio hands-free, without having to hold down the record button, and will also have access to an equalizer that displays the voice waveforms. Another new feature is a voice note player that will not be integrated into the regular chat interface. This will allow users to listen to and control audio recordings even after leaving the chat. This ability to preview recordings before sending them is one of the platform\'s latest additions. Currently, without this update, audio messages played in chats will stop if you switch to another chat. This will continue until the update is available for all devices. To enjoy the update, users can do so from the iOS version of WhatsApp, but note that the feature will be rolled out as it is tested.
