The social network is rolling out new updates, which will help content creators promote their live videos. In addition, creators will have access to a third option that will extend the reach of their content to users who aren\'t necessarily followers. Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri explained the new features the network will offer users via his official Twitter account. Attached to a video, Mosseri\'s tweet explains, “New features. Some fun ones this week: Lives in Profiles, Video Remix. Let me know what other features you’d like to see.”

Lives on Profiles This tool will allow users to showcase and promote their upcoming live streams. The option focuses on enabling those who are going live to add it to their profile, along with details about the scheduled stream. When a follower visits the profile, they will see a banner with the live stream information. Tapping it will open the relevant information for the live video, as well as a reminder option for Instagram to notify you when the broadcast starts. Remixes Another update mentioned is remixes. In true TikTok style, the app is now directly competing with it, since in 2021 Instagram had stated that remixes would be exclusive to Reels, unlike now, when they can be integrated into all videos on the social network.
