The social network owned by Meta has been changing its guidelines this year to compete head-on with the arrival of TikTok, a video-sharing social media app owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. The entertainment network\'s director, Adam Mosseri, has repeatedly posted on his social media accounts about the process of experimenting with new interaction tools, updates, and improvements for Stories and Reels, which has attracted the attention of influencers looking to host their content on just one social network. Reels has become one of the most popular features. In this latest update, the company announced that users can now reply to posts using the Reels format. This opens several doors for influencers and brands, as it represents a new integration experience for each company\'s digital ecosystem. Users will be able to unleash their creativity and originality to add dynamism when interacting with their audiences and/or virtual communities. This will also boost the visibility of Reels, as everything points to them becoming the main focus of the social network. The new feature originally comes from TikTok, which already had a video reply option in early 2021. This has worked very well for TikTokers and their engagement. The difference is that this update allows you to reply to both videos in posts and Reels. When you want to reply to a comment, the chat bubble will appear with a camera icon. Tap on the user and you can record a video to reply to the comment. Once published, a thumbnail of the video will appear in the comment thread.
