ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

Effective Date: June 20, 2025

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) establishes the rules of conduct that all users and customers of the services provided by MOX Networks SpA (hereinafter, "MOX®" or "MOX") must follow. This AUP is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Use.


1. PERMITTED USE

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this AUP. You are permitted to:

  • - Host lawful websites, applications, and content
  • - Use email, VPS, VPN, or proxy services responsibly
  • - Perform administrative, technical, or development tasks that do not affect third parties

2. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

a. Illegal or unauthorized activities

  • - Distribution of malware, ransomware, or spyware
  • - Phishing, spoofing, or online fraud
  • - Sale or promotion of illegal or counterfeit products
  • - Incitement of hatred, violence, terrorism, or discrimination

b. Network or resource abuse

  • - Sending bulk or unsolicited spam (email, SMS, etc.)
  • - DDoS attacks, port scans, sniffing, or vulnerability exploitation
  • - Excessive CPU, disk, or bandwidth usage on shared services

c. Intellectual Property Violation

  • - Sharing or distributing copyrighted content without authorization
  • - Using trademarks, logos, or unlicensed software

d. Improper use of VPN/Proxy services

  • - Circumventing geoblocks in violation of third-party terms of service
  • - Committing illegal acts or concealing criminal activity

3. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

The Client is responsible for the content hosted in its account and for all activity carried out through its services, even if carried out by third parties. MOX does not perform proactive monitoring, but may intervene in the event of substantiated complaints or technical evidence.

Furthermore, it is the Client's responsibility to keep its website, systems, applications, CMS, plugins, and any software hosted on the MOX® infrastructure up to date unless expressly instructed to do so by MOX®. Failure to update or maintain such updates or maintenance may lead to security vulnerabilities, malfunctions, or harm to third parties. MOX will not be liable for damages, service interruptions, or unauthorized access resulting from such failures; the Client is fully responsible for any technical or legal consequences that may arise.

4. CONSEQUENCES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE

For violations of this AUP, MOX may:

  • - Issue warnings
  • - Suspend services partially or fully
  • - Remove harmful or illegal content
  • - Terminate your account without a refund
  • - Report to law enforcement when necessary

5. MODIFICATIONS

MOX may modify this AUP at any time. Updates will become effective upon posting on our website.
